FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The Fusion IQ's patented dual function lets it operate as a swing press, pivoting the heat platen outward, or as a draw press, pulling the lower platen out on rails, giving a heat-free workspace either way.

The Fusion IQ can be set from 32 degrees F up to 430 degrees F.

Heat the press to 350 degrees F/177 degrees C, place a temperature strip on the center of the platen or use a contact thermocouple thermometer, touch the Settings icon on the Home Screen, touch Calibration, then Temperature, and adjust the Temperature Calibration value to match the measured target temperature.

The default Manager-level password on the touch screen is M.

Yes, it can connect to a WiFi network and be registered to the IQ Portal at iq.hotronix.com to track usage, assign operator access levels, and receive firmware updates.

Standby Mode turns off the heater while keeping the touch screen on, showing an orange background as a warning if the platen is still above 100 degrees F/38 degrees C, and it must be used for the Auto On/Off scheduling feature to work.

The touch screen interface is available in eight languages.

It uses a 16" x 20" platen with a 3/4" thick non-stick coated upper platen.
